It Makes My Nature Rise!
It Makes My Nature Rise! is inspired by a critical study of Spike Lee’s notoriously controversial film, Bamboozled, and it’s recurring thematic commentary on social reactions towards controversial subject matter. This is a book of taboo foods from all over the world. From balut (fertilized duck egg), to rotten shark meat, to cannibalism, there are foods out there that while most others would find nauseating, a few find, well, delectable. And just as racial prejudices and bigotry never gets any easier to talk about, It Makes My Nature Rise! isn’t exactly what you’d call “dinner-table” talk either.
